In this chapter, we see Concept’s five phases as an exploratory demo where a shaft, drum, register, punch, and gears mesh in order. The aim is not a full restoration of the historical machine, but to make Read -> Rule -> Write -> Move -> State readable as a machine decomposed so its parts do not move at the same time.
