Black Hole Observation Lab
Read a black hole as a shadow shaped by bent light, using the accretion disk, photon ring, and gravitational lensing as the first clues.
Read it not as a black sphere but as a shadow made by light
Rather than seeing the black hole itself directly, you read the center’s presence from the shadow where surrounding light is missing, the accretion disk, the photon ring, and the distortion of background light. This way of reading was confirmed as observation by the direct imaging of M87* in 2019 and Sgr A* in 2022.
Entry to observation: Event Horizon .
First press "Discover in 30 seconds" and run through the observational signs once, in order: shadow → light from behind → photon ring → lens image → schematic.
The black circle is not an object’s surface but a shadow where the region light does not return from has made the surrounding light go missing.
The 3D emphasis and camera switch automatically in order: shadow → light from behind → photon ring → lens image → schematic. Tap the sentence for each stage and the matching part glows softly in 3D.
