Translate abstract operations into part-to-part handoffs
We map the Read, Rule, Write, Move, and State seen in Concept onto paper tape, read head, rule selector, write punch, drive wheel, and state lamps. What we handle here is not the Bombe’s historical mechanism but an exploratory bridge for reading abstract operations. Read the part names as translation labels for not losing sight of where the payload goes, not as a faithful restoration.

The Mechanism Bridge is a mapping, not a restoration of the real thing. It prioritizes being able to read shortly which part an abstract phase hands to. Keep its role separate from the Bombe’s codebreaking mechanism.
