Two poles
The sphere before you is the entire state space of a single qubit. The north pole is |0⟩, the south pole |1⟩. A classical bit only moves between these two points, but a qubit’s state can stand anywhere on this sphere. First switch pole to pole and watch the arrow of light run down the sphere.
