断面の中を、左から右へ空気が流れていきます。前から順に、圧縮機・燃焼室・タービン・ノズルの4つの部屋。ジェットエンジンがしていることは、じつはとても素直です——「吸って、圧縮して、燃やして、押し出す」。冷たい青い空気が、燃焼室で一気に熱くなり、後ろから高速で噴き出す。その一連の流れをまず眺めてください。
